Gloria Dollinger Appointed Chief Development Officer of the Community Foundation of Will County

The Community Foundation of Will County (CFWC) is very pleased to announce the appointment of Gloria Dollinger as Chief Development Officer effective immediately. As the leader of the CFWC, Dollinger will work with the Board of Directors to ensure the overall growth and long-term stability of the organization.

“We are delighted to welcome Gloria Dollinger as the new leader of the Community Foundation of Will County. Gloria brings professional depth and breadth to the Community Foundation that will be an enormous asset,” says Tricia Simpson, CFWC Board President. “We will benefit from her longstanding and active leadership in the civic, political and philanthropic life of Will County. Her proven ability to lead and deliver results has been demonstrated with numerous Will County organizations and those who know her attest to her commitment to achieving goals and long term success.”

Dollinger currently serves as a member of the Will County Board and as a Commissioner of the Forest Preserve District of Will County. She will continue working at the Joliet Park District as the Nutrition Supervisor helping people with their nutrition and fitness needs. Dollinger is an active member of the Rotary Club of Joliet and is involved with numerous organizations that serve the people of Will County such as the Workforce Investment Board of Will County, the MAPP Collaborative (Mobilizing for Action through Planning and Partnerships) and the AMITA St. Joseph Medical Center Auxiliary Board

“I have personally supported the Community Foundation of Will County since the beginning,” says Dollinger. “We have an opportunity to grow the organization and make it a true force for philanthropic leadership. Throughout our communities, I see tremendous generosity and commitment to making Will County a better place for all to live. I’m excited to work with our current donors and to reach out to new ones to make an even greater impact together.”

Dollinger and her husband, Ed, have been married over 33 years and have three children – Matt, Casey, and Nathan.
