The Illinois Gives Tax Credit Act Is Back for 2026!

The Illinois Gives Tax Credit Act has been extended for the 2026 tax year, and we’re pleased to share that we are once again an approved and Qualified Community Foundation (QCF).

As in the previous year, the program is available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you’d like to keep more of your charitable dollars working in Will County while taking advantage of the 25% Illinois state tax credit, we encourage you to make your contribution to the Community Foundation of Will County.

Illinois taxpayers who make qualified contributions to endowment funds held by QCFs like The Community Foundation of Will County may receive a 25% state income tax credit, up to $100,000 per year.
