Below are some important dates to remember when making your gifts and grants with the Community Foundation of Will County.
MAKING A DONATION/ ADDING TO YOUR FUND
CHECKS:
- Checks mailed to the Community Foundation of Will County for deposit must be postmarked by December 31, 2018 to be counted for tax purposes in 2018.
- Checks personally delivered to our office must be received no later than Friday December 21, 2018.
If your goal is to personally deliver a check, please contact us at (815) 744-9223 to make arrangements ahead of time to ensure that someone is available to receive your donation.
STOCKS:
- If you plan to make a stock gift to your fund, the transfer must be completed by December 31, 2018.
MUTUAL FUNDS:
- Mutual fund gifts must be initiated by December 7, 2018 in order to ensure processing by year’s end.
GRANT MAKING FROM YOUR FUND
In order for grants to be postmarked by December 31, recommendations must be submitted by Wednesday, December 19, 2018.

OFFICE HOURS
Please be aware that The Community Foundation of Will County’s office will be CLOSED beginning on Saturday December 22, 2018 through New Year’s Day.
We will re-open on Wednesday January 2, 2019.
